Function of Corn Cleaning Machines

The first process in corn production is cleaning. Vibrating screen removes dust, organic and inorganic impurities to guarantee save production and high quality products. Cleaning methods mainly include sifting and air grading. The corn cleaning machines include vibrating screen, gravity stoner machine, magnetic drum and wheat washer. The vibrating screen is used to clean big, medium and small impurities. The first layer of mesh is at the diameter of 17-20mm and the second is 12-15mm to remove big and medium impurities. The third is 2mm to remove small impurities. The gravity stoner machine is used to remove stoners of the same size with corn particles. As the corn particles are big and flat, you should increase wind flow during operation. Wind speed through scale holes should be at 14m/s. Magnetic drum is installed before the grinder to remove metal impurities. The wheat washer can be used to remove mud and dust in the corn to reduce ash by 0.02-0.6%.
