Germ Extraction
The line includes cleaning, germ and flour extraction, medium and high pressure aspiration systems, mechanical conveying and PLC which controls all the production process.
Cleaning Process: sifting, destoning, magnetic separating, metering.
Cleaning Raw Materials: cleaning-magnetic separating-destoning-metering. The vibro sifter is used to clean big and small impurities in the raw materials with vertical suction tunnel to purify dust. The separator is equipped with magnetic drum to remove scrap iron and screws, easy to maintain, protecting the degerminator of high-speed rotating machine. The destoner is to remove big impurities like stones, the medium pressure aspiration system equipped is to remove the light dust. The flow scale is applied to meter the grains in production, making it convenient to manage the line. The deduster is to remove dust and other light impurities, protecting the atmospheric environment.
Conditioning: The clean grains go to conditioning bin after moisturized with 1-2% water by atomizer and stay for 8h to soften germ in order not to break them during degermination process, increasing yield.
Corn Germ Extraction: degermination- grading- flaking- sifting. The degerminator separates endosperm and germ. The square plansifter grades materials from degerminator. Corns mixed with germs go to next sifter after germ flattening machine. The pure germ is separated out by vibro sifter, flaking machine and vertical air suction tunnel. The other materials is conveyed by horizontal spiral conveyor to the elevator and to flour mill.
Medium Pressure Aspiration System: The processing line includes 3 sets of medium pressure aspirators, 2 destoner aspirators and 1 grader aspirator. The destoner makes the materials suspend on the screen with the help of medium pressure wind, separating heavy stones and light corns. The stones moves up by the force of screen while the corns moves down by wind force. The grading sifter separates big impurities and husks with wind force. The elevators, spirals conveyors and vibro sifters will produce dust during production. The aspiration systems are designed to avoid flying dust, beneficial for workers’ health and quality of finished products.
High Pressure Aspiration System: 1 set of high pressure aspirator in the project. A part of equipments should convey the materials by wind force. The TY series high pressure blower, strong negative air suction cyclone, air lock are used to convey the materials without dust, guaranteeing sanitary workshop.
Mechanical Conveying System: The elevator is used to convey materials in vertical direction while spiral conveyor in horizontal.
PLC Auto Control System: The system can be divided into cleaning, degermination and corn oil expelling.
